Publishing Model

A publishing model defines a publisher's strategic approach to producing, distributing, and monetizing content. In academic and scientific publishing, various models exist, each offering distinct strategies for accessibility, revenue generation, and content distribution. These models shape how knowledge is shared, accessed, and funded, ultimately influencing the impact and reach of scientific research.

OPEN ACCESS (OA): Three E Science Institute proudly operates as a gold open-access publisher, ensuring that all articles in our journal portfolio are immediately and permanently accessible online at the point of publication—completely free of charge. Our publications are released under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, which actively encourages sharing, collaboration, and the unrestricted use and modification of works. This license requires proper attribution and mandates that any derivative works be shared under the same terms, fostering an open and equitable scientific community. By prioritizing unrestricted access and reuse, we are committed to driving global knowledge exchange and accelerating scientific innovation.

CHARGE APPROACH: Our open-access model offers unrestricted and immediate online access to academic research, empowering individuals worldwide to read, share, and reuse content freely. We employ an Article Processing Charge (APC) model, where authors pay a fee only for articles that successfully pass peer review and are accepted for publication. Unlike traditional subscription-based models, APCs ensure that all published content is freely available to everyone, removing access barriers and accelerating scientific collaboration and innovation. This approach enhances the visibility and impact of research, driving faster progress across disciplines.
