Preparing Your Research for Publication

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, scientifically sound, accurately presented, and consistent with applicable ethical standards. Before submission, authors should carefully review the aims and scope, author guidelines, manuscript format, publication ethics, peer-review process, and publication charges of the selected journal.

Journal-specific requirements take precedence over general information provided on this institutional page. Authors should therefore consult the website of the journal to which the manuscript will be submitted.

Authors should complete the following checks before initiating an online submission.

Manuscript Preparation

Publication Ethics & Research Integrity

Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of submitted manuscripts. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, citation manipulation, and manipulation of the peer-review process are incompatible with responsible scholarly publishing.

Use of AI Tools

Artificial intelligence tools cannot be credited as authors. Human authors remain responsible for all submitted content, including its accuracy, originality, references, data interpretation, and ethical compliance. Material use of generative AI or similar technologies should be disclosed when required by the applicable journal policy.

Research Data & Data Availability

Where appropriate, authors should provide sufficient information concerning the origin, availability, processing, and analysis of research data. A data availability statement should be included when required by the selected journal. Restrictions associated with privacy, confidentiality, participant protection, legal obligations, or third-party ownership should be stated clearly.

Online Submission

Manuscripts should be submitted through the online submission system of the selected journal. Authors should create or use their journal account, complete the required metadata, identify all authors accurately, upload the manuscript and required supplementary files, and verify all information before completing the submission.

Peer Review & Editorial Decision

Submission does not guarantee publication. Manuscripts may undergo initial editorial screening before being considered for external peer review. Editorial decisions are based on journal scope, scholarly merit, methodological quality, ethical considerations, reviewer reports, and applicable editorial policies.

Responding to Reviewer Comments

When revision is requested, authors should respond systematically to editorial and reviewer comments. Revisions should clearly identify changes made to the manuscript, provide reasoned responses where recommendations are not adopted, and preserve a professional scholarly tone throughout the response.

Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges, waiver arrangements, and other publication costs are determined by the respective journal. Authors should consult the journal's current APC page before submission. Where an APC applies, payment is associated with publication after formal acceptance and does not determine the editorial decision.

Copyright & Licensing

Production & Publication

Following acceptance, the manuscript enters the journal's production process. Authors may be required to review proofs, verify author information and affiliations, respond to production queries, and confirm the accuracy of the final article before publication.
